DAY ONE
– Types of limited company
– Understanding ordinary and preference shares
– Understanding capital and revenue reserves
– Bonus issue and rights issue
– Statement of changes in equity

DAY TWO
+ Preparing financial statement of limited company
– Income statement
– Statement of Financial Position
– Statement of changes in Equity
– Interpretation and analysis of financial statements
+ Calculate and understanding key accounting ratios
– Profitability ( Gross Profit margin, Net Profit margin, ROCE, ROE)
– Liquidity ratios ( Current ratio and Acid Test Ratio)

DAY THREE
+ Calculate and understanding key accounting ratios
– Efficiency ( Inventory turnover, Receivables period, Payables period)
– Position ( Gearing, Interest cover)
– Preparing cash budgets
